Studded Black Leather Dog Collar

Studded black leather dog collar UK made by Creature Clothes, one of the first makers of cool collars for dogs in the UK at that time. Founded in 1999 by designer Cosima Pole, Creature Clothes stick to their original principles of designing stylish dog accessories that are practical for dogs and owners, while reusing and recycling as much of the production waste as possible.

These leather dog collars are UK handmade in their Surrey workshop using quality Spanish saddle leather that is dyed throughout and wears in beautifully.

The collars are treated with Neatsfoot Oil to protect the leather. The metal studs are individually riveted by hand to ensure they are as strong as possible. The underside of the collar is worked to ensure there are no hard edges.

This collar is a classy black leather with decorative heart, bone or star studs in your choice of a nickel or brass finish and quality matching furniture. Optional leads also available for those who want the set.

The matching leather leads are double riveted at all joints and feature a metal 'O' join between the handle and main part of the lead to give more flexibility. It also allows the lead to be clipped around your waist or shoulders when it is not in use. The leads are approx. 1m in length.

Collar Sizing
These collars are sized according to your dog's neck measurement (not the collar length). Place a fabric tape measure around your dog's neck as you would like the collar to fit (2 fingers under the collar is recommended as a good fit).

Leather Care
Treat the leather well and it will grow even more beautiful with age. To clean, rinse in warm water then treat with Neatsfoot Oil for waterproofing or saddle soap. This will keep the leather supple. Avoid contact with salt (sea) water and chemicals (e.g. flea treatments).
